Discover the power and emotion of charcoal portraiture in this 8-week expressive drawing course! Meeting once a week for two hours, students will explore facial proportions, value, light and shadow, blending, mark-making, and expressive techniques. Through demonstrations and guided projects, students will learn to move beyond simply capturing a likeness and create portraits filled with depth, personality, and emotion.
